Meet 7th Graders Olive Stieber, Tierney McGinnis, and Dagny Lynn of Cascade K-8 Community School. These three students made a video about The Works for their Community Service project for the Washington TSA State Conference and won first place!!! Congratulations, and thanks for doing the drive and supporting The Works! We appreciate you. The video includes an interview with our amazing Co-Chair Alison Buss.
These children are our future ❤️
And "Thank You" to our amazing CK8 teachers Rebecca Drury (STEM) and Fergus Temporada (art) for mentoring our students through these TSA activities every year.

WHAT IS THE WORKS?

The Works is a free student clothing room that provides high quality, clean, gently used children’s and teen clothing and self-care items to Shoreline School District children. Shoreline families can bring their children to “shop” for gently used, stylish clothing.

TO SHOP AT THE WORKS:
  • Families must have a Shoreline School District address or have a child who attends a Shoreline School District school.
  • Each qualifying family may shop once each month on a Wednesday night between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:00pm.
  • Walk-ins will be accepted from 6:30pm until 7:30pm, after which time no families will be allowed to start shopping.  All shopping must be completed by 8:00pm.
For urgent needs, please email [email protected].

HOURS

The Works is normally open on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm when school is in session.  If you cannot make it to The Works during our open hours, you can email Andrea Petrusky at [email protected]. You may also contact your school's Family Advocate to arrange a visit. The Works does not operate during school vacations or the summer break.
