Mission

Shoreline PTA Council - Hi-Cap Advocacy committee was formed to support the needs of our Highly Capable students (K-12) in the Shoreline School District through the collaborative efforts of our parents, educators and administrators. Our group’s objectives are to build community among Hi-Cap families and to increase awareness of the academic/social/emotional needs of Hi-Cap students.

Goals

Our main goals are:
  1. act as a liaison between OSPI, school district and the local PTA/schools,
  2. organize events for training and awareness purpose,
  3. develop collaborative relationships with school district administration,
  4. offer community connecting opportunities
  5. support and assist Hi-Cap students towards self-advocacy
