United Way of King County, Food Lifeline, the City of Seattle and Metro Access are offering home delivery of emergency food across Seattle, North King County and East King County during COVID-19. This resource is available to anyone who:
- Lives in Seattle, North King County or East King County
- Is unable to access their local food bank in person
- Is unable to afford groceries
To order a food box, fill out this online form https://bit.ly/3dG81ot, or call United Way of King County at 1-833-540-0800, Monday through Friday from 11 am - 4 pm. At this time, households can order up to three food boxes per delivery. You can also find a nearby food bank at www.foodlifeline.org/need-food. - WithinReach hotline (1-800-322-2588) can help families apply for food benefit programs along with provide connection to additional food resources (in a variety of languages) www.withinreachwa.org

Mental Health Resources
- Crisis Connections connects people in physical, emotional and financial crisis to services through 24-Hour Crisis Line, Teen Link, WA Recovery Help Line, and WA Warm Line.
- Shoreline's Center for Human Services offers numerous community supports and resources, including mental health counseling and family supports.
- Crisis Text Line offers 24/7 support from trained Crisis Counselors by texting HOME to 741741.
- Disaster Distress Helpline provides 24/7, 365-day-a-year crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress at 1-800-985-5990 or text TalkWithUs to 66746.
- Futures Without Violence is maintaining comprehensive information and resources for survivors, communities, and domestic and sexual violence advocacy organizations and service providers.
- National Domestic Violence Hotline offers support through the chat feature on the website or over the phone at 1-800-799-7233 or 1-800-787-3224 (TTY).
- API Chaya specializes in supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking with people from or affiliated with Asian, Pacific Islander, and Middle Eastern communities.
- Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides numerous resources for domestic violence survivors including shelters and local programs.
- The University of Washington's Forefront Suicide Prevention Program is providing a series of webinars for kids, parents, and educators, focusing on mental wellness and suicide prevention.

- Call 2-1-1 (or dial 800-621-4636 in King County) to get referrals for resources in your area. The person on the call will be able to search a database of local resources that gets updated regularly.
Are You able to Lend Support?
- Drop off food donations at one of the Little Free Pantries listed above (or build your own Little Free Pantry!).
- Help provide food, rental assistance and utility support by donating to Hopelink.
- Help support child care access and food access through Dale Turner YMCA.
- Donate food items (preferably only what you already have on hand) and provide funding support for food and rent assistance through North Helpline (12736 33rd Ave. NE, Seattle).

The Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO) resolves complaints, disputes, and problems between families and Washington State elementary and secondary public schools in all areas that affect student learning.
We intervene in issues such as: bullying/harassment, cyber bullying, suspensions, expulsions, special education, enrollment, transportation, discipline, academic progress, truancy, transition from pre-school to Kindergarten. and more. We facilitate and/or mediate conversations between parents and school officials, and guide all parties towards resolution focusing on what is best for the student. OEO advocates for fair processes for students in public schools.
We serve parents/legal guardians, students, K-12 educators who need to resolve a problem affecting a student. We also provide consultations to professionals working with families who need information about public education.
