Encourage parents to ADVOCATE on a State Level by participating in the Take 5 Campaign

Take 5 For Kids Campaign

Council encourages all local units to engage parents in the process of communicating with our legislators on the issue of fully funding basic education.  One way is the Take 5 For Kids Project.  At every board and general meeting pass out 4x6 index cards and ask members to write a note.  On the back put your name and address so they can be delivered to your legislator.

Either poster can be used for local unit newsletters.

You are encouraged to write 4 cards per person.  One to each of your legislators and one to the Governor.
