Ready Relief (endorsed by Washington State PTA) : The "ready relief" program is similar to "kids feeding kids; " yet schools who participate in "ready relief" store their packaged food at their school in case there's an emergency. After one year, this food is shipped overseas to needy children and fresh supplies are packaged for the emergency storage.

Disaster Calendar: Week by week acquisition of emergency supplies for home, broken out to make getting prepared seem less overwhelming. Groceries one week, Hardware the next week.
